Bonobo (UK) – Live, Black Sands album release concert – 9th September

One of the crowned kings of the downtempo genre, Simon Green, the front man of Bonobo, or to simplify, Bonobo himself is soon coming to Budapest again. The concert will take place in the beginning of September at Gödör Klub where, if the weather is nice, we can gather for some mood lifter cocktails in the early evening to make sure that we dance through the whole party in the best mood to the music of this unique young man.

The sometimes slow, daydreaming and sometimes really wild and speedy electro songs are especially effective on live shows, no wonder that Bonobo gives concerts in most famous festivals, and is on stage on a weekly basis all over the world. Simon Green was born and grew up in rural Hampshire, escaping to Brighton aged eighteen and soon drew the attention of different record labels with his refreshingly new tunes. Currently he is in contract with Ninja Tune who publishes the best of the genre. With his recently released Black Sands album he is now perfectly placed to push on into a yet bigger league with his combination of superb live shows and studio wizardry.
