The concert series World Music in Gödör will kick off again in September, this time with concerts that are likely to please fans of Synthpop. First the band Larry Hangman will be on stage, followed by a short show of the Hippodrom circus. Then comes Frenk with his band, who will – as usual – include show-like elements into their performance. The night will be rounded off by a robust concert of Intim Torna Illegál, a band that has managed to attract great many fans within a very short time of their existence.
The band Larry Hangman was founded in the beginning of 2009 by Bálint Tisch and Dusán Kanász. Many will have heard their two greatest hits on the radio or on some TV show but those who haven’t can listen to them live at the concert. This will be an unusual performance in that the duo will play with guest performers and with a different orchestration, but they will have other surprises for the audience, including some brand new songs from their new album that is currently in production.
Frenk and his band of excellent musicians always give a colorful and extravagant show. This time they will perform the songs from their second album, Big City Nights, to be released this year. The album will convey night moods infused with sex, drugs, alcohol and love – so will the concert at Gödör.
The band Intim Toran Illegál projects robust energy, their songs reflect the love of life and music, which the boys have enriched during their tours in Hungary and abroad. They gave their first concert at Gödör on 22 January 2010 and – to our great pleasure – they have been returning ever since then.
