Anima Sound System album release concert: Nhim, The Kolin, Anima Sound System, Mynicknameisartimus (DJ set) – 22th May
We have been long waiting for a new album of Anima Sound System who has been silent for a while but finally we can get it and this evening we can even listen to the newest songs of one of the most important but definitely the first electro groups of Hungary. Before them plays one of the new favourites of the Hungarian indie scene, the surprisingly cheeky but originally provocative Kolin. Little trance, little rock, little electro, both boys and girls like it. After the concerts a DJ with brand new energies will roll the dubstep-electro discs till closing time.
Anima Sound System
The 10th album of the 17 years’ old Anima Sound System will be released on the 20th May by NarRator Records containing 14 songs, the title of the album is: “Tedd a napfényt be a számba” (put the sunshine into my mouth). On the album release spring-summer tour the band will present several new songs among the old hits (68, Tekerd (Spin it), Elég volt (That’s enough)), the first stop of the tour will be in Göröd Klub on the 22nd May.
The songs were composed in the last year in rented flats, rehearsal halls, sleeping rooms and in the Pannonia Studio following the guidance of producers Gergely Németh and Zsolt Prieger. The album is admittedly Anima’s most popular album with verse-refrain songs, with an ironic journey into disco, glamrock, dance and funk genres and, after long years, with several songs in Hungarian. In composing the Németh-Prieger duo was joined by the old co-composer and Anima founder Szabolcs Prieger and several song’s idea came from the guitar-vocalist Gábor Gergácz. The songs with English lyrics are composed by Gergely Németh and the Hungarians by Zsolt Prieger. This is the first Anima album where all the songs are sang by the new singer Fanni Prieger.
Additional information is that of all the songs of the album “Tedd a napfényt be a számba” there will be remixes and music videos recorded in the near future by Hungarian (NVC-Crew, Tits & Clits, Tommy Brutkho etc.) and famous foreign artists.
The entrance ticket for the concert is 1000 HUF and can be purchased on the spot.
