Ceux Qui Marchent Debout (FR), Malacka és a TAhO – 16th of March
After the day of our National Holiday, it will be worth to come down to Gödör Club again, since two nationally (and internationally) famous band, the French Ceux Qui Marchent Debout from Paris and the Hungarian Malacka és a TAhO from Budapest will play.
The typically French band with their bohemian and happy attitude got world fame because of their peculiar instrumentation. They mingle percussions and wind instruments with banjo and classic rock instruments (guitar, bass guitar), which makes their music very extraordinary.
The six musicians have reinterpreted the bases of jazz, funky, reggae and ska. Through groovy progressive dance music to loose jazz, many genres can be found in their songs.
They have been playing at street festivals and other festivals around the world (from Nigeria to Cuba), always with a great success. Recently they have won the award for the best French funky band.
It is not their first time in Budapest, but this concert is part of their world tour, the premiere of their new album (which was recorded in 2009 with many famous guests, such as Angelo Moore from Fishbone, and Charles Walker, singer of the Dynamites).
Before them the well-known Malacka és a TAhO will loosen up the audience with lots of fun, trumpet, drums and pretty girls and pretty boys on stage.
