Kafkaz, Jenő Menyhárt–Mihály Víg–János Másik – 1st of March This Monday evening will be exciting for many generations; some people’s dreams will come true since emblematic figures of both the 20st and the 21st century will perform. There is no competition and no stake. The insolently young János Kardos Horváth and the respected older representatives of Hungarian underground music will play after each other.
Kafkaz is the solo project of Kaukázus’ front man. János Kardos Horváth will show the audience his new songs he’s been working on since he stopped playing with Kaukazus. He will perform with the keyboard player Gábor Berkó.
At Kafkaz’s concerts the audience could get to know the human side of the protagonist, not the star, but the enthusiastic, young musician.
We don’t need to introduce the Másik-Menyhárt-Víg trio to people, who regularly come to Gödör, everyone knows what it means, when János Másik plays on bandoneon with his semi-closed eyes, or when Jenő Menyhárt is panning the audience while singing Hello, Baby. Mihály has been also working on some new songs, so we can have a taste of those too. There will be many surprises the since three of them perform together to evoke the 80s.
