With the 10th Backpackers’ Spring Festival, several Hungarian musicians will shed their winter coats to kick off Budapest’s biggest spring time rock festival. Bëlga – album release concert on friday at the Backpackers’ Spring Festival

Bëlga’s “Gold” album has been released and the new songs are already available for download from the band’s website. You can also buy the album at the concert in Gödör for 500 HUF. Before the elections nothing could be more current, than a political concept album.

10^th Backpackers’, the traditional music flow, will take place in the middle of March in Gödör Club. This year in consideration of the jubilee the organizers have put even more into the biggest music festival of spring time in Budapest; of course this year again we would like to make it easier for both native and foreign young people, for “backpackers” to stay here over the festival, so Budapest’s youth hostels’ guests will be able to visit the concerts with a 5 HUF priced symbolic ticket. The music programs will be on the main stage with one of the most up-to-date sound and light technics of Europe, every day. The performers of the nights are the most well-known and popular bands of Hungary including two album release concerts.

Isolated in VilágGödör – video

On February 12, as part of the WorldGödör series, audiences were treated to several performances, including a concert by Isolated. In this video, Péter Müller Sziámi, explains how his collaboration with Béla Szakcsi Lakatos started and what happened with Isolated in the past. Béla Szakcsi Lakatos reveals about a “new music” that will come along soon and that how the 21st century’s musician will be like.

Magashegyi Underground and Gabriella Máthé in VilágGödör – video

On February 12, as part of the WorldGödör series, audiences were treated to several performances, including a concert by Magashegyi Underground and a dance performance from choreographer Gabriella Máthé.
